The augmented reality game Modesto Reborn has been reincarnated in several different formats: a web-based game-for-change; a location based scavenger hunt; and currently as an iPad interactive story.

In each case it inspires game players – many of whom are local residents of the Central Valley – to imagine Modesto differently.

Through animations and imagery, the game helps people visualize what the city could become.
